What is Trailblazers Church of State College?
Trailblazers Church of State College is a friendly and diverse community of people who love Jesus and want to share His love with others. Our community is a Spirit-filled, non-denominational Christian church connected with with the global, Bible-based charismatic movement. We are a church where everybody belongs and everybody gets to play. Whether you are new to faith, curious about Christianity, or looking for a place to belong, you are welcome here. Come and experience the presence of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the joy of fellowship with us.
What are your beliefs?
We believe that God loves us and wants to have a personal relationship with us through His Son Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again. We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers us to live like Jesus and to do the works that He did, such as healing the sick, prophesying, and setting people free from oppression. We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and the authority for our faith and practice. We believe that God has a purpose and a destiny for each one of us, and that He invites us to join Him in His mission of transforming the world with His love.Read more about our core values.

What time is your service?
Our Sunday service starts at and lasts until about . We also have a small group, fun events, and outreach opportunities that you can join throughout the week. You can check our website or follow us on social media to stay updated on our events and activities.
How should I dress?
We are a casual and relaxed church, so you can come as you are and feel comfortable. There is no dress code or expectation for how you should look. We care more about who you are than what you wear.
Do you have something for kids?
Yes, we do! We love kids and we want them to have fun and learn about God's love too. We like to include our kids in the service, giving them the opportunity to run and dance in worship, pray for each other and for we adults, and be engaged in talking about the Bible and faith. During the sermon/Bible study time, we have a kids' program for little kids, though any child is welcome. Our kids' ministry team is made up of volunteers who are passionate about serving God and His children. They provide a safe and engaging environment where kids can do crafts, watch videos, and hear stories from the Bible. You are also welcome to keep your child with you or join them in the kids program.

During Your Visit
What is your worship style?
Our worship style is contemporary and lively. We use a mix of live guitar and YouTube playlists to sing songs that praise God and express our love for Him. We also encourage you to worship in whatever way you feel comfortable, whether it is standing, sitting, clapping, raising your hands, or dancing. We believe that worship is not about the music or the style, but about the heart and the attitude.
What is ministry time?
Ministry time is one of our favorite parts of our service. It is a time when each person who comes is invited to receive personal prayer and prophetic encouragement. We are followers of Jesus who love to pray for people and listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit. We will pray for your prayer requests and needs, but we will also spend time speaking words of life and hope over you, and affirming your identity and destiny in Christ. Ministry time is dedicated to building you up to be the wonderful person God has created you to be. One thing we all take away from it is this: God really does love us!
What is your sermon like?
Our sermon is usually about 30 minutes long, but sometimes we go longer or shorter depending on how the Holy Spirit leads us. We vary between interactive sermons, Bible storytelling, small group Bible studies, and videos such as the Alpha series. Our sermon is based on the Bible, which we believe is the inspired word of God and the authority for our faith and practice. We aim to teach the Bible in a way that is relevant, practical, and applicable to our daily lives. We also welcome your questions, whether they are everyday "How do I live my life?" sorts of questions or impossible "How in the world does the Trinity work?" kinds of questions. We believe that God wants us to know Him more and grow in our relationship with Him.
What is communion?
Communion, also called the Lord's Supper or the Eucharist, is a time of thanksgiving to Jesus for sacrificing His life for us on the cross. We do this by eating a piece of bread and drinking a cup of juice, which represent His body and blood. We do this in remembrance of Him and in anticipation of His return. We also do this as a way of expressing our unity and fellowship with each other as His body, the church. Communion is open to anyone who believes in Jesus and wants to follow Him. You don't have to be a member of our church or any church to participate. We usually do communion once a month, but sometimes we do it more often as the Holy Spirit leads us.
