God Heals Hips

October 4, 2021 by Trailblazers Church

I was driving home today after visiting a friend. On my way home I was thinking and praying because I feel like God is so present in my life and on board with everything I’m doing, and I was trying to figure out how to convey that to people to encourage them. I heard God say that I ought to start recording the things He’s doing.

Anyway, I was thinking about all that while driving. I looked to my right and saw a grungy looking dude with an American flag bandana, and I felt the urge to pray for him. I kept driving, but the feeling wouldn’t leave. So, I turned around, looking for this guy. There he was! He happened to be walking across a turnoff point, so I turned, stopped, rolled down my window, and shouted, “Hey man, can I pray for you real quick? I think God is telling me to pray for you!”

“Yeah, I live up the road!”

“No, no,” I said, “can I PRAY for you?”

“Oh! Sure!”

I put my hand on his shoulder and started praying. A lady honked behind me, so I parked the car, got out and put my hand on his shoulder again. I heard on my heart, “hips.”

“You’ve got hip pain, right?” I asked

He immediately started crying. “Yes.”

“Okay,” I said, “God’s gonna heal you right now. God, please come and heal him from his hip pain now in Jesus’ name. I pray that you would fill his body with warmth, God. Hips, I command you to be healed. Do you feel any better?” I could feel warmth in my hand.

He was still crying, “It feels a little bit better.”

“Okay, well, I’m going to pray again for complete healing.”

I prayed again and told him that Jesus loves him so much. I could feel the love of the Father for this man. I’m not sure if he was 100% healed, but he was definitely at least partially healed. I gave him a big hug after that and went home.
